About Trademetria

A few words from the founder

I am not as fancy and rich as I look, but I love this picture because it was one of the coolest moments of my trading career. I visited the NYSE floor and of course I had to dress up to get in. I am a computer science graduate turned full time trader and owner of Trademetria.

I started trading back in 2001 when my college buddy recommended buying INFA (Informatica). I bought 200 shares at $14 and held it for two years selling it for $8. Trading became an expensive hobby during my corporate days. When I quit my job, I decided to become a full time trader. Since then, I invested a lot in my career by moving to New York in 2006 to trade with the best in the business as a prop trader. I sat next to guys making anywhere from 1-50k a day and had the opportunity to train and oversee a bunch of traders too.

In August of 2008, I co-founded a prop firm, yes I know, worst time in history to teach new traders how to trade and it did not last long. I traded until the end of 2009 when I became country manager of a Chicago trading tech company doing business in Brazil.

Nowadays, I manage Trademetria, a world class trading journal tool with tens of thousands of users worldwide.

When someone asks me what was the moment that changed my pro trading career, I always say that analyzing my trades was the most important factor of my success. That's why I built Trademetria, to help me and others improve their results by understanding what they are doing right and wrong. Nothing is guaranteed in the trading world, but if you use Trademetria consistently, it can help improve your results. It works for me and it can work for you. Give it a real try and let me know what else I can do to help you improve your results.
